Developed workload scenarios, environments, and workload drivers to efficiently evaluate new and existing code functionality for one of IBM’s leading database and transaction managers, IMS, (Information Management System). Exceeded our quality assurance goals as Team Lead and provided vital feedback and recommendations to clients and development teams. - Monitoring and development tools: Visual Performance Analyzer (VPA); Eclipse IDE; & Rational Developer for System Z; JMeter; Wireshark; z/OS Resource Measurement Facility (RMF); etc. - Improved workload test cases & environments: Coded workload automation configurations and programs; Mainframe/Windows environments; Java; COBOL; etc. (Reduced a 4-week testing effort into an 8-hour shift). - Developed and maintained system environments: Developed and maintained system resource allocation process for support, storage, and processor use to create optimal performance evaluation environments. - General product software enhancements to both Java and C++. - Designed and implemented Web Service test clients in Java. - Workload Development
