Daily Duties at Presbyterian Healthcare Services:

Responsible for the deployment of all required new hardware for their 3 major hospitals in Albuquerque and 4 regional hospitals in New Mexico that will run their full system upgrade to the Epic Connect electronic medical records suite. For their 3 major hospitals in Albuquerque, I directly managed a team of 9 computer installation technicians as well subcontracted teams of 3 network cabling and port installers and 2 computer wall track installers for patient rooms. Additionally, I worked on the hardware configuration solutions with over 60 nursing unit managers. In the regional hospitals, I directly managed a team of 6 computer installation technicians for the same type of deployment as well as providing direction to patient care coordinators, plant facilities managers and desktop support leads at each regional. In the course of almost a year, the total budget for all hardware, all subcontractors and all staffing costs I managed was approximately $5 million.
