Daily Duties at Farmers Union Insurance Company:

Farmers Union Insurance Company's (FUIC's) project to migrate core insurance processing systems was behind schedule, over budget, and client was demanding billings suspended, reparations, and threatened legal action and to sever all Compuware ties. Remaining tasks were replanned, negotiated with Compuware management to accede to client billing demands because of perceived potential for additional business opportunities. Negotiated with client to agree on the definition of "done." Galvanized cross-functional team of fifteen (20) resources, ran project like Agile sprints, implemented project as rescheduled, sold three (3) additional projects that were implemented successfully, including the automation of its commercial policy line which was laboriously managed manually, automated several personal lines of insurance including, homeowners, car, farm, and vessel, and remained site manager for almost four (4) years.
