Director, Command Control Computers Communications Intelligence * Served as IT Director to oversee Command Control Computers. Led 40 military and 6 civilian personnel responsible for Information Technology and Communications systems. Managed department's administration, financial, and training programs. * Executed proactive lifecycle maintenance of headquarters computer networks. Managed standard network configurations for desktops, servers, switches, hubs, and routers across the enterprise. * Directed operations, administration, and maintenance of the Global Command and Control System, classified and unclassified wide area networks (WAN) supporting 1600+ client workstations for the UK to US WAN, Netherlands to US WAN, and the Defense Messaging System and Message Distribution System. * Led network migration to Windows 2000, Computer Associate Unicenter to remotely deliver Internet Explorer, information assurance vulnerability patches, and several other required applications. * Improved command's information infrastructure (budget of $1M+) by developing strategic plan and identifying programs for long-term improvements to information systems, including installation of Navy and Marine Corps Internet.
