 Directed operations of a hotel with 160 rooms and 5,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. Worked with corporate to develop strategic plans. Managed P&L and budgets with a focus on cost control.  Supervised a team of 60 employees, including managers for Housekeeping, Maintenance, Front Office, and F&B.  Interviewed prospective employees and made all hiring decisions.  Conducted regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness and maintenance.  Managed relationships with tenants (a bar and meeting planning company).  Generated reports, including gross operating profit and Revpar.  Interacted with guests on a daily basis to ensure satisfactions and solve problems in a proactive manner.  Improved guest satisfaction rating (LTR) from 7.41 – 8.20 by enhancing training and improving standards for maintenance/cleanliness.  Maintained 85-90% occupancy in a competitive area near a major airport.  Mentored and promoted an employee to Front Office Manager.  Enhanced skills in managing P&L and new technical systems, including payroll.
