Daily Duties at City Of Rockville:

• Oversee and produce content and digital media for an average of 150 documentaries, news segments, promotions and packages per year at an award-winning government channel in the metro D.C. area • Act as the channel’s art director and lead designer, including establishing the overall look and graphics presentation for all digital media and more than 100 broadcast segments per year, and the creation of 2D and 3D motion graphics for all broadcast and web productions • Support the channel 11 team throughout every stage of production to meet weekly and monthly deadlines by scheduling and working studio and field productions; designing and setting up lighting for shoots; digital asset management for deliverables including broadcast, web, and mobile devices. Promoting city news and activities through various social media applications • Maintain and troubleshoot the channel’s equipment, software and other technology needs including researching and determining specifications, and ordering production equipment; working with vendors to solve ongoing and emergency issues; and providing one-on-one support and training in advanced software to junior staff members and 10 interns per year
