My responsibilities, for more than six years, was to be the primary contact between the mayor and the independently elected 13 members of the Denver City Council. All city departments submitted their draft legislation to me for review and scheduling for Council consideration, I was the administration's primary lobbyist to the Council and met several times a week with then Denver Mayor Wellington Webb concerning the status of his policy agenda.
