Daily Duties at Scripps Health Information Services:

• Manage functional and technical systems/business analytics in support of several business solutions, such as G.E. Centricity Perioperative Manager / Anesthesia EMRs and CIMS Instrument Tracking systems in a fast paced work environment. • Provide Tier 2 - 24 hour On-Call technical phone, email, GoToMeeting, written communication and/or chat support for all Nursing, Medical and Ancillary users, leveraging thorough knowledge of relevant application workflows and specifications to help resolve and provide analysis for all Service Requests and client issues following company healthcare standards, with attention to detail and a timely resolution. • Test application fixes to ensure resolution of reported problems, participating in alpha testing of new software prior to release to clients/users, collaborating with clients in performing workflow analysis, technical documentation, testing, and implementation of all system upgrades. • Serve as member of the Core Multidisciplinary Team for design and implementation of the Clinical Documentation module, overseeing technical support for the CPM HL7 interfaces. • Serve as Lead in using Screen Builder for the Centricity Perioperative Operating system’s Clinical Documentation EMR, as well as Project Lead for design, build and implementation of the Centricity Patient Tracker module in the Perioperative areas across the enterprise. • Provide systems administration support in creating, maintaining, and updating employee access privileges and security, reviewing and approving application access requests (AARFs) and enrollment or disenrollment activities to support the CPM and CPA applications. • Represent the department in the Steering Committee, CPM Core, and EPIC OpTime development meetings.
