Daily Duties at Thomson Reuters:
Coordinated occupancy of new corporate building, allowing company to establish 1 central location in Midtown Manhattan, moving 1400+ users, 1000+ servers and devices into new Data Center, installing TV distribution system and network infrastructure, creating document databases, and ensuring facility data communications. Relocated 2000+ users within and outside building within 1 month due to building closures and reorganizations, completing several times during 15-year construction history. Participated in 10-floor renovation within building, accommodating “Hoteling” environment prescribed by company, reducing operation cost. Completed Technical Infrastructure rebuild, enhancing Technical capabilities of floors, incorporating complete rewiring of OM3 fiber, Cat 6 cabling, WAP, and new Cisco Network switch installations, upgrading Video Conferencing and Television Distribution.
