•Contribute executive assessment of plant and network design optimizing national distribution •Support transition of a manufacturing company to a Lean Manufacturing environment. •Drive innovation to address challenges of highly perishable goods & 14-day cycle. •Develop clarity around performance standards, goals, and means of achieving them •Safeguard continuous excellence in state of the art food safety practices •Interject supply inputs for Weekly Sales Forecasting Meeting •Provide analysis of monthly Marketing and R&D meeting •Give review of monthly Sales and Revenue Generating Meetings •Coordinate Daily Raw Sales Meeting •Collaborate with various departments to develop new processes & systems to meet objectives •Manage short and long term plans for Raw Material, Purchasing and Inventory •Leadership accountability for planning and coordination of order cycles •Manage replenishment of raw materials while maintaining efficient inventory levels. •Implement and manage Purchasing and Inventory systems tracking raw goods & assets. •Create a supplier network capable of supplying high quality competitively priced materials. •Track purchase orders from initiation to final delivery, reporting & resolving problem situations. •Manage inventory reconciliation process to maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies. •Develop & recommend corporate policy for Material Sourcing, Purchasing, and Inventory Control
