Daily Duties at Nortel:

Accountable for the operation of managing all aspects of Customer IT and telecom networks services and Network Management Tools in the U.S., Europe and Asia for major global companies. We provided technical & IT support services that were outside of these companies core competencies. Implemented an Operations Support System (OSS) and Back office Support systems (BSS) from the physical layer down to the applications layer and managed desktop.I was resosibe for Implementing Nortel’s Network Management Services and Assisted Operations division. The staff of 200-250 direct and indirect reports required to actively manage complex converged networks across 33 counties. This part of my team was Accountable for the Network Managed Services P&L. Results: Revenues of $200 million annually with gross margins of 28% and net margins of 9.6%. Responsible for management of Customer Networks and Relationship with the United States Department of Defense – US DOD, Bloomberg Financial Platform Networks Globally, American Airlines, General Motors, Ford, Rolls Royce, Bombardier, etc…
