Daily Duties at Mission Command Training Program, United States Army:
Chief of Staff that supervises a 27-person staff of senior military personnel and civilians. Responsible for the coordination of all internal/external action of this organization that develops the operations, plans, administration, who are responsible for observing, coaching and training corporate executives in charge of organizations ranging from 10,000 to 30,000 personnel and their senior staff in the United States and abroad. Primary focus is on how these senior leaders can fully integrate, coordinate and synchronize special operation personnel into their organizations for more efficient operations. This is conducted during an $11 million exercise on a world-wide simulation software package that uses live personnel and specific location around the world to model real world enemies and terrain. These simulations take a year to plan and are executed five times a year during a 10-day Chief of the Staff of the Army’s warfighting (WFX) exercises. During these WFXs the Division and Corps commanders can train their leaders and senior staff how to be better prepare in planning, synchronization, coordination, and execution with their subordinate, adjacent, and higher units prior to and during combat operations.
