Daily Duties at Gas Technology Institute (Gti):

I designed experiments to characterize the relationships between measured experimental data, process data, process operational performance and process models. My primary area of research focus has been in computational fluid dynamics and process design in the application of mathematical models to steady-state and transient problems of flow, and heat and mass transfer for processes with and without chemical reaction present. I supervised subcontractors and directly engineers and other project team members as the Principal Investigator to design through construction and PHA a bench-scale (1MMscfh) experimental program for the high temperature and pressure testing of multi-pollutant removal from coal-derived syngas and for evaluation of dehydration and hydrocarbon separation in natural gas purification. I also put together a Joint Industry Project (JIP) with project funding Oil & Gas industry and worked with their assigned company experts in this area to perform experiments to elicit unknown physical properties as mass and heat transfer coefficients to developing a computer model for predicting the suitable direct injection amount a chemical scavenging of H2S from natural gas.
