Daily Duties at Regional One Health :
Tactfully maintain effective communication with ROH Executive and Senior leadership, clinical providers, staff, faculty, vendors, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO), Operating Room, LTAC facilities, and Pharmacy customers at a Level 1 Trauma Facility. Direct the development of options for reaching negotiation objectives, issues and limits, as well as supplier interests, needs and approaches. Relentlessly and Persistently manage and coordinate centralized specification, negotiation, procurement, and distribution of all contracts, supplies, equipment, and services in accordance with System-Wide Policies and Procedures. Provide cost-benefit analysis to substantiate decisions in product selection. Develops and implements appropriate policies and procedures for all facets of the Supply Chain area of responsibility. Assist VP and Associate VP in client relationship management of Enhanced Purchase Service customers. Manage the receipt, tracking, processing, and return of capital equipment quotations from members through a 3rd party vendor. Provides leadership and supervision of the supply chain staff, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Contract Management, Central Supply, Shipping and Receiving, ERP Systems departments and their functions within the hospital. Oversee the management of inventory and establishes controls to ensure the medical center is operating at the highest level of performance based on key performance metrics and minimized supply chain risk. Conducted weekly “Round Table” staff meetings which resulted in a 92.7 percent on customer service satisfaction survey; which included Regional One Health employees, staff and physician satisfaction with Supply Chain Management. Developed a supply chain infrastructure to support both existing and future patient and research needs. Developed strategies, policies, procedures, and overall team to optimize value of the entire function in creating a world class supply chain group. Function as Lead Project Manager for implementing, upgrading, maintaining, and monitoring supply chain systems to support the daily supply chain processes of the Regional One Health Medical Center. Participate in existing and new product planning processes to assure timely acquisition of materials; participate in the evaluation and selection of products to promote standardization and utilization of medical supplies and equipment. Restructured processes to coincide with initiatives and contract conversions as they related to purchasing, distribution and inventory of supplies by facilitating coordinating and participating in complex cross-functional teams.
