Daily Duties at Liberty Health Care Co./Florida Civil Commitment Center:
• Train and lead a team of mental health professionals in the provision of intensive group and individual therapies for 180 adult male sexual offenders • Supervise and coordinate all aspects of clinical service delivery within a multi-disciplinary team • Develop new programs and treatment interventions in cooperation with other clinical team leaders and the clinical director • Formulate client progress reports submitted to the court system and independent psychological evaluators • Provide witness statements to the courts when subpoenaed • Oversee the accurate documentation and maintenance of client records according to HIPPA and CARF standards • Supervise discharge and release planning, interfacing with various community agencies and treatment providers • Engage in the development of policies and procedures according to evidenced based, best practice in our field.
