Daily Duties at Family Dollar Distribution:

• Responsibilities include managing all flow of merchandise in and out of facility for the assigned shift • Direct 3 Department Managers, 5 Area Managers, and 100-150 hourly associates Responsible for $60 million dollar inventory, 20,000 line items in a 908,000 sq. ft. warehouse. • Manage receipt of all merchandise, flow and storage from the receiving dock replenishment of outbound order filling locations, order filling and loading of all orders. • Devised and implemented process improvements directly related to storage, replenishment, order filling and loading of merchandise. • Consistent increase in productivity year over year • Exceeded previous year quality standard every year of operation • Exceeded all level of service standards for inbound product • Built and managed 2nd shift operations where none had previously existed including hiring, training and development of entire management team.
