Daily Duties at Dgi Supply:
Challenged to turnaround facilities to reduce costs, boost efficiency, strengthen productivity, decrease waste, and improve customer satisfaction. Developed and planned to consolidate 20 locations down to seven with increase productivity, WMS implementation and company delivery service. Developed production reporting processes, improving cycle times, preventative maintenance, training employees in behavior safety training and process improvement techniques for the company Implemented company driver evaluation program, prevention program for company owned vehicles. Planned overhaul and reorganizing of 20 facilities, to achieve consolidation to 6 facilities in the next 24 months using LEAN principles. Sustaining top levels of service and quality throughout transition. Produced a 30% reduction in costs per unit, 25% improvement in efficiency Championed the first Safety Committee within the company to ensure OSHA compliance across the company including deliveries warehouse and manufacturing. Implemented the first programs for Cycle Counts, Inventory, Delivery, safety and on-boarding.
