Daily Duties at Engineering Solutions & Products Llc:

• Prepares all supply documentation, evaluated effectiveness of material management programs and procedures, and assessed trends and compliance with established directives by analyzing statistical data and reports. • Develops standard operating procedures and policies for material management programs and for purchasing equipment and supplies. • Scrutinizes invoices and shipping manifests to ensure compliance with all local customs and international regulations. • Serves as Property Accountable Officer in charge of non-expendable Government Furnished Equipment, installation property, leased property, and government-owned property including 3000+pieces of equipment worth more than $18 million. • Uses expertise in developing computerized programs to enhance property accountability. • Serves as Product Manager Mission Command Product Director Fire Support Command and Control (PM MC, PD FSC2) Fielding Manager, Information Assurance Security Officer (IASO), PC Maintenance Technician, and Primary Building Environmental, Health and Safety Facility Manager. • Determines the structure, composition, position, and equipment requirements of active and reserve component Army FORSCOM and TRADOC forces. • Documents and reviewed equipment resource requirements, authorizations and structure in MTOE/TDA units utilizing an integrated process from the U.S. Army Force Management Support Agency (USAFMSA) Force Management System web site (FMSWeb) and documented all transactions in the Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) system for authorized world-wide review. • Ensures that the needs were met for 1500 soldiers deployable with 700 vehicles. • Oversees the requisition, acquisition, storage, and distribution of Army property worth more than $6 million, with no losses or damages while maintaining a $5 million annual budget. • Maintains databases of logistics information. • Interprets data on logistics elements, such as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing or distribution, supplier management, or transportation. • Provides ongoing analyses in areas such as transportation costs, parts procurement, back orders, or delivery processes. • Prepares reports on logistics performance measures. • Confreres with logistics management teams to determine ways to optimize service levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency, or minimize cost. • Remotely monitors the flow of vehicles or inventory, using Web-based logistics information systems to track vehicles or containers. • Tracks product flow from origin to final delivery. • Recommends improvements to existing or planned logistics processes. • Enters logistics-related data into databases. • Develops and maintains models for logistics uses, such as cost estimating or demand forecasting. • Ensures that the logistical staff complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets internal and external customer needs. • Develops goals and objectives that integrate organization and logistics objectives. • Researches, interprets, analyzes and applies logistics policies, procedures, regulations, and guidelines. Establishes policies and procedures for accomplishment of logistical plans and operations in support of RTC developmental test mission. Plans and schedules work in a manner that promotes a smooth flow and even distribution. • Coordinates, plans and schedules with other organization managers and customers as appropriate. • Structures assignments to create effective and economical positions. • Coordinates with other test organizations and customers as appropriate. • Reviews organization equipment and manning structure. • Identifies requirements and initiates requests for additional resources including personnel, overtime, equipment, supplies, and space to ensure success in meeting goals and objectives. • Provides advice to the Chief of Logistics on significant issues and problems related to work accomplishment. • Establishes metrics and analysis systems to ensure actions are timely and reviewed at critical points. • Performs self-inspection and presents detailed and comprehensive reports with any corrective action to the Chief of Logistics and follows-up to ensure complete and quality resolution of discrepancies. • Coordinates all GAO/IG Audit issues pertaining to logistical matters. • Administers RTC S4 portion of the Internal Control Program (ICP) to include ensuring checklists are complied with and completed according to regulations. • Develops and coordinates staff input for recommendations for comments or changes to ATEC/DTC ICP and Command Inspection Program. • Manages the implementation of required procedures regarding scheduling, synchronization of maintenance, logistics and supply to ensure staff compliance with regulations and policy guidance for property accountability, facilities, maintenance and supply used in developmental testing. • Applies innovative thinking in planning and appraising concepts for logistics, maintenance and supply systems which normally are not covered by written guidance. • Serves as logistics concept analyzer, applying a high order of analytical ability to review future supply, maintenance, and logistics processes/principles used in developmental testing. • Staffs and resolves controversial matters arising from reviews of concepts and other development test products. • Analyzes and evaluates proposed logistics systems for probable impact on logistics concepts and doctrine. Maintains cognizance of current and emerging Joint and Service specific testing concepts as they are applied to logistics in support of developmental testing.
