Daily Duties at Headquarters Military Intelligence Readiness Command:
Provided General Officer level oversight and Battalion level logistic support to the Headquarters, four Brigades, 11 Battalions and 44 Detachments. Planned, developed and managed an annual operating budget in excess of $3 million. Managed the execution of logistical activities to include supply, transportation, lodging in kind, food service support, processed and managed life support, service and equipment contracts for the command, and provided advice and recommendations to the Deputy Chief of Staff of Logistics and Senior Logistic Management Specialist on matters pertaining soldier, training, readiness, operation, and mobilization; developed and implemented policies and procedures used to provide guidance to subordinate units and soldiers on the correct execution of logistic transactions. Built and maintained a center of knowledge for logistics personnel within and outside the command to locate information to enhance their logistics capabilities. Supervised and monitored the workload of 14 soldiers.
