Daily Duties at Pemco Inc.:
Build and repair industrial power centers and turbine generators, installing high voltage transformers, CT’s, VT’s, installing high voltage fuses, high voltage switches, installing 25 kV cable, cabling in input and feed-thru high voltage plugs, wiring up PLC cards and PLC cabinets from schematic prints, fabricating boxes for mounting terminal blocks, mount and wire in monitors to determine voltage and current going to the equipment, wire up panels to operate mining equipment, wiring in 240-120V receptacles, wire in all control panels and control relays, install 120-240V panel boards and 480V panel boards, wire in fans and dampers, wire up VT cabinets and drawers, install quarter by six copper buss, use 600 AMP and 600 voltage meters, meggars, run EMT, flex, and rigid conduit, install fire suppressant systems, install smoke alarms, wire in 480 plugs for running welders, operate forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead rail cranes, gantry cranes, operate scissors lifts, install communication wire, fiber optic wire, order material as needed for various jobs, wire light switches, receptacles, install fluorescent lighting, repair old power centers, installed 480 and 995 control breakers, installation of voltage regulators, completes monthly safety training.
