Daily Duties at Venture Captive Management:

One of my main duties at Venture Captive Management was to construct a risk assessment strategy for a $2.5M captive insurance corporation. The goal for this assessment was to design and develop new revenue streams by broadening policy programs. I was able to accomplish this goal by incorporating legal liability, flood insurance, stop loss programs, and workers compensation non-subscriber policies for residents of Texas. While at this position I also executed risk management and risk funding for commercial general liability and liability (CGL PL) involving fifteen captive clients in the healthcare industry creating $26M in annual revenue. My efforts also Increased premium writings for existing captive insurance companies owned by physicians to $20M per year. Venture Captive Management held me accountable for the processing of any request for proposals (RFP) needed to leverage current market practices and secure top-level results leading to client success and satisfaction by meeting their objectives. My personality was important in fostering a successful working relationship between offshore captive insurance companies, fronts, reinsurers and clients to provide funding for life and other benefit programs offered to employees.

What they like about Venture Captive Management:

The social vibrance of a hiring firm is very important to you. Your ability to make and maintain friendships there is a critical part of your decision. You would likely be dissatisfied with a workplace that is quiet, cold, or otherwise not particularly social. When you investigate a new hiring company, ask recruiters, managers, and potential co-workers about the social life and opportunities there. This is especially important when you are relocating; moving dramatically alters your social sphere both inside and outside the workplace.
