Entered, filled, verified and dispensed medications, counseled patients on prescription and over the counter medications, Demonstrated flexibility going between several pharmacies in different locations. Provided individual counseling on chronic disease states, such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma; demonstrated and explained machinery as necessary. Verified all prescriptions. Assisted patients purchasing over-the-counter (OTC) medications, ensuring proper use and understanding. Administered vaccinations to multiple communities, calming and supporting patients as necessary. Gained experience with specialty medications; learned to compound medication and to provide mail-order for certain specialty
