Daily Duties at Walgreens:
Held responsibility for managing all aspects of Walgreens pharmacy, including inventory, record keeping, store appearance, and overseeing staff. Hired and trained new staff, ensuring topnotch customer service. Checked-in with staff regularly to confirm prescription logs and other records’ correctness. Established and maintained trust with among patients and customers, staff, and doctors’ offices. Organized monthly Senior Days, providing senior patients with specialized counseling and information on Medicare and affording medications. Updated medication records. Conducted daily (new-to-therapy) NTT follow-up call, ensuring patient adherence of new medications. Delivered over 700 influenza vaccinations per year, in addition to shingles shots, hepatitis, MMR, and meningitis; provided information on importance of vaccinations, possible side-effects, and comforting patients in distress.
