Daily Duties at Horizon Air:
HORIZON AIR, PORTLAND, OR MANAGER, CUSTOMER SERVICES (2016 – 2017) ▪ Led and drove performance at the Portland Station, Horizon Air's second largest hub by ensuring world-class customer service for over 6,500 guests across ninety commercial airline departures each day. ▪ Managed a strategic framework and provided mindful leadership ensuring that key performance metrics and business goals were aligned, achievable, and measurable. ▪ Developed and executed strategy for labor management and reporting tools that supported success for eighteen direct reports and an organization of over 265 dedicated front-line staff. ▪ Responsible for building and maintaining a culture of Safety & Compliance within the station and cargo operations. ▪ Oversaw the implementation of operational plans to ensure the hub met and exceeded performance objectives. ▪ Responsible for station budgets and cost containment that aligned with divisional and organizational goals. ▪ Developed and mentored managers to facilitate diversity, employee engagement, succession planning, and career progression. ▪ Ensured effective communication with frontline and field supervisory staff that built alignment around continuous improvement and attainment of strategic goals. ▪ Responsible for facility planning to ensure optimum efficiency, productivity, and financial performance at the PDX hub. ▪ Coordinated large recruitment events and planned advanced training programs.
