Daily Duties at Milestonehealthcare:
• Provides financial and regulatory reporting and analyses to maintain adequate controls over the financial and regulatory reporting processes. Responsible for running complex business performance, risk and operational analytics. Preparation of proforma reports using cost reports, P&L, staffing matrix, average salary rates to assess market, credit and or operational risk of new and existing financial products. • In charge of developing, gathering, and maintaining Medicare compliance metrics. Making sure all the units managed by Milestone healthcare meet the 60 regulatory requirements for payment under Medicare IRF Prospective payment system. This determination is made on an annual basis • Liaison with project managers in preparation of comprehensive audit of medical records by validating billing compliance and documentation for Post- Acute Care Services provided at 27 facilities that include inpatient rehab facilities, Inpatient behavioral health units, and Swing bed programs. The audit ensure that the IRF facilities are submitting appropriate request for payment and that the payment request matches the level of care • Produce and execute financial and demand projections for development and strategic business plans • Collaborate with marketing team to complete pro-forma income statements and prepare cost estimates to support product development decisions on new and reformulated products.
