• Educated customers about the benefits and value of their home cable, internet and phone services • Genuinely attentive to customers needs and specifications in order to obtain their loyalty without a stale sales approach • Successfully handled unsatisfied and frustrated customers all within an average of 8 to 20 minutes • Responsible for retaining, upgrading and selling bundle packages that included high speed internet, cable, long distance, international, and local phone calls, and wireless internet • Educated customers on the pros and cons of competitors such as: Direct TV, Dish Network, U-Verse, and Hulu • Promoted to sales retention specialist from customer service department within 7 months (12 months mandatory for any promotion) • Top 3 sales retention representative--typically without the need to grant discounts or promos
