• Direct patent care for children and adults with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses including orthopedics, joint replacements, and bariatric surgery Charge Nurse • Managed patient throughput and support staff on a 12-bed medical/surgical unit. • Served as a resource for peers Systems Super User • Support and training to peers during the McKesson Paragon (EMR) implementation • Participated in testing of upgrades to the EMR prior to implementation Information Technology Shared Governance Committee • Analyzed end-user workflows with an interdisciplinary team to optimize the technology system • Reviewed requests for information to be added or removed from the EMR to increase usability and accuracy • Communicated to and rounded on peers with education regarding upgrades to the EMR
