Daily Duties at Advocate Condell Medical Center:
Tained, informed, advised, and supported end users across the hospital on Cerner Care Connection, Cerner PowerChart, Cerner PowerChart Touch and Dragon Natural Language systems • Tested and validated upgrades to the EMR that incorporated current best practices for clinicians as determined by the medical councils • Evaluated and designed workflows when implementing technologies that interfaced with the EMR such as Intellicure • Conducted analysis of Cerner PowerChart Orders to support quality improvement initiatives such as Computerized Physician Order Entry and Key Results Areas for the organization • Updated and distributed educational materials when changes were made to Cerner PowerChart • Created a monthly newsletter for physicians which highlighted best practices for the use of the EMR and informed them of the latest updates to the EMR
