Daily Duties at Visa Inc:
• In charge of all IBM software for Visa's 7 production TPF Systems. • APAR and PUT updates, including managing test teams and performance volume testing. • Updates included Control Program and user mods, database pool reorganizations, FARF address updates, FCTB and RIAT maintenance, global updates, VFA changes. • Technology Planning, Software Maintenance and enhancements, including coding, testing and benchmarking IBM TPF platform for Visa middleware and Applications on 7 production computer systems and networks and 22 test systems. • Responsible for testing and benchmarking new hardware for 7 production computer systems and networks and 22 test systems. • Hands on experience with mainframe and PC applications and tools. • Install and test MQ Series, Visual Age, TPF Debugger, C++ applications, SOAP, XML, Mail Server and other open system solutions for VISA. • Technical support for Visa's operations, coverage, applications and middleware groups.
