Daily Duties at Com Disco:
Imaging new machines via Ghost, desktops and laptops both that were newly purchased, with the standard Windows 2000 desktop image and taking the old outdated hardware from the users and synchronizing the users programs and various other software installed and data migration from the user’s old computer to the new computer. This was a complex procedure to support our end users as the team had to inspect the user’s old machine(s) for personal files and work related files. The expectation would be that their updated hardware would be transparent to the end user. Some local users required delivery and setup to their in offices and desks; other users were remote and needed the hardware shipped to them which my team facilitated. Support of ComDisco’s AV equipment and setting AV equipment up for meetings and presentations (Large screen TVs and projectors) in their offices and conference rooms.
