Responsibilities included the support of 1600+ desktops & laptops located in Chicago. Assisted in a Novell Zenworks 3 to Zen 4 migration and the support of close to 400 Novel Application Launcher or NAL objects similar to SMS packages in the Microsoft world. Participated in a Novell Tree migration similar to a Microsoft domain migration which forced the support of old tree and new tree NAL objects to total close to 800 NAL objects at the end of the day. The migration from Windows 95 to 2000 and ultimately I created the Windows XP SP2 image using Sysprep and supported scripts to customize the image for all of North America and was responsible for image maintenance for 6 hardware types (3 laptop models and 3 desktop models) in over 7 different offices. At the end of this position before being promoted to the Sr. Operations Analyst, I was the lead technician for the Midwest and provided 3rd level support and was the last point of escalation for 1600 users in Chicago as well as 7 satellite offices for a total of roughly 3,000 desktops and laptops. Administration of Patchlink for Microsoft Security updates, McAfee Endpoint Protection 8.5 and a migration to Symantec Endpoint Protection. Lastly responsible for technical documentation and the cross training of co-workers and contractors
