Daily Duties at United Healthcare:

 Provided utilization review of mental health and substance abuse inpatient treatment for continued stay using medical necessity guidelines.  Facilitated peer reviews of cases that did not meet medical necessity criteria with medical director.  Conducted chart audits and review for facilities requesting an appeal or for late notifications of admission.
