Daily Duties at Cura Linc Healthcare:
Managed team of mental health professionals in providing integrated behavioral health and case management services to help ensure clients were getting comprehensive treatment and care. Completed comprehensive psychosocial assessments for diagnosing and developing comprehensive treatment plans. Provided counseling to clients with severe mental health, trauma, and substance abuse issues using brief solution focused, motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapies. Provided crisis intervention services, coordinated critical incident stress debriefings for individuals involved in traumatic events, and conducted onsite critical incident interventions. Managed national call center of mental health professionals in providing telephonic assessments, counseling and case management services to employees and their dependents. Case management services provided using multidisciplinary approach, involving medical, community, and social resources. Trained team to provide case managements services, and utilization review of treatment for behavioral health services for all levels of care. Consultation and guidance provided to managers and human resources personnel in dealing with problematic employees and otherwise sensitive situations. Coordinated services for employees mandated to received treatment for violation of workplace policies. Implemented policies and procedures for providing clinical services, and network development. Provided quality assurance review of clinical cases to ensure strict adherence to policies and procedures as well as compliance to state and federal requirements. Conducted periodic reviews and audits of cases to ensure compliance with clinical standards and state and federal policies, and when needed administered corrective action plans to staff that were not meeting standards. Implemented the use of assessment metrics to measure outcomes of applied interventions and the programs’ effectiveness. Implemented telehealth product that provided treatment for individuals using video conferencing or chat via a secure, HIPAA compliant network. Maintained HIPAA compliance as the Compliance Officer, ensured staff received adequate training on HIPAA, and implemented policies to maintain data security and integrity in compliance with HIPAA guidelines. Responsible for installing and maintaining computer and network infrastructure, and anticipating and meeting technological needs of company based on departmental responsibilities.
