Daily Duties at University Of Phoenix:

• 12 years’ extensive experience working within Student Services. Working and managing in a call center environment • Call training, monitoring and coaching- Inspiring excellence is support services • Screened, hired, trained and directed the performance and initiatives for up 21 direct reports, including tele-commuting team members, and oversaw up to 60 indirect reports managing a 6K student base globally, terminating staff if warranted. • Effectively managed client escalations, striving to resolve concerns and retain students within programs. • Trained advisors in effectively coaching students, and worked with director/managerial staff in delivering proper customer service techniques while creating processes and procedures to increase productivity/efficiency. • Successfully built trust, created loyalty and promoted team cooperation to meet corporate initiatives. • Retained staff files, managed IFMLA and military leave, developed action plans and investigated compliance issues. • Managed administrative processes and human resource related activities • Ensured staff was in full compliance with university/educational policies, governmental regulations • Created new cultural engagement committees, executing activities to improve student and employee engagement. • Managed cultural change initiatives, staff recognition programs/awards and engagement programs. • Created processes and procedures to service vocational rehabilitation students, a military subset working with case managers, the Veterans Administration and the school for life development of disabled military veterans. • Recognized for leading the highest retaining team in the university over teams across the nation. • Proven success improving and maintaining NPS (Net Promoter Scores) • Participated in the Political Action Committee to investigate, comprehend and work with government regulations in political environments that affect education to ensure positive opportunities for students. • Collaborated to manage various educational and internal events, working with vendors, directing activities managing budgets. • Quickly took action in fast-paced and deadline driven environments to resolve critical issues to mutual satisfaction.
