Daily Duties at Cbre:

Responsible for the Engineering Operations throughout the New Jersey portfolio of client owned facilities. The portfolio consist of multiple Enterprise Data Center Facilities, Class “A” Office Tower and a business continuity site. Directly responsible for Document Control, Remote Monitoring, Environmental, Health & Safety and Computerized Maintenance Management System initiatives. Responsible for engineering compliance enforcement through the use of playbooks and standard operating procedures (SOP). Provide MEP oversight, direction and guidance for Engineering and Property Management initiatives. Responsible for global computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) initiatives including parts management, labor tracking, sustainment, asset tagging, and preventive maintenance. Provide oversight, direction and guidance for engineering related projects. Responsible for the development and execution of capital project implementation. Responsible for incident escalation and resolution. Develop and manage annual budget. Successfully lead, develop and mentor a staff of 50 individuals (48 unionized) Manage the Engineering Operations team responsible for identifying, documenting, auditing and implementing process and procedure improvements. Manage all aspects of Data Center and BCP site operations consisting of over 600K square feet 25+ Mega Watts. Manage all aspects of based building engineering operations consisting of over 1.5MM square feet. Manage Technical incident resolution process for all MEP related incidents. Investigate root cause of incidents and communicate resolution to the Engineer team. Establish, develop and review all requirements for RFP’s to ensure accuracy prior to distribution. Signatory to contracts to ensure SLA’s are aligned with client expectations and corporate sourcing protocols. Manage relationship with vendors and OEM’s to ensure services provided are delivered per contract obligations. Drive conflict resolution with vendors and OEM’s. Assist engineering team with planned maintenance activities including writing and approving MOP’s. Collaborate with project management team to implement cost savings initiatives in mission critical environments
