Daily Duties at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center:

Responsible for directing all the hospital inpatient and outpatient coding and auditing functions as well as appealing coding and billing denials for five hospitals in the east Florida region consisting of 35 coders. Performed MS DRG and APC auditing on a monthly basis to ensure ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS code validation is documented and supported clinically in the medical record to comply with corporate Compliance and Monitoring Auditing Plan. Provided education to all coding staff of audit findings
