Daily Duties at State Of Florida Department Of Health :
investigation experience consisting of fraud and abuse, medical reimbursements, criminal, administrative, and contract compliance and government regulations. I ensured that healthcare professionals as well as healthcare facilities were compliant with rules and regulation required by Medicare/Medicaid, Federal False Claims Act, Stark, HIPAA, Anti-kickback & Fraud and Abuse and other laws imposed by the Food Drug Administration (FDA). I have extensive experience in reviewing Managed Care Plans to identify which providers are on the Exclusion list from participating in Federal and State Health Care Programs.
