Full time Contract Engineer in the Controls Engineering department working on product improvements, standardization and meeting customer requirements • Help develop geometric dimensioning and tolerance standards while improving the drafting library of parts. Developed Factory Acceptance Test standards • Led multiple successful Kaizen projects with Six Sigma methodology. Worked under Black Belts to ensure waste was reduced, pull system instead of traditional push system and worked on production shop floor layout and tool boards • Reduced waste by $125,000 annually by reducing quality errors by standardizing procedures and making the format and flow easy for shop floor technicians to read thereby reducing the price of non-conformance of products while selecting correct equipment for subsea field
