Developed master equipment list, document registers and materials while conforming to subsea codes, regulations and industry standards • Multimillion dollar budget responsibility for equipment, R&D, headcount product maintenance and standard product catalogs. Costing, material selection and understanding customer needs • Executed successfully the complex task of merging engineering activities, subsea products, processes while reducing costs after merger, excellent performance rating every quarter with 100% on time delivery year after year, zero attrition and reduced both price of non-conformance as well as price of conformance. Exceeded stretch goals every quarter, year after year • Travelled extensively to Rio de Janeiro, Daytona, Newcastle, Woking, Kongsberg, Krawkow Hyderabad, Nusajaya and Singapore facilities to collaborate, integrate and present one face to the customer. Identified, trained and developed local leaders in each region directly reporting to me and member of the technical integration committee • Responsible for product maintenance and R&D budgets for three different regions. Identified low cost manufacturing regions, optimized product facilities in different regions and developed satellite pool of shared resources in Krawkow, Hyderabad and Singapore K.H. Rao - Resume • Integrated complex electro-hydraulic steel tube with electrical quads and optical fiber umbilical along with thermoplastic umbilical and loose tube bundles to termination units. Reduced cycle time, interfaces and components • Developed next generation and subsea 2.0 umbilical termination units, electrical distribution, foundation mudmats, suction piles, jumper mounted kits, hydraulic flying leads, electro-hydraulic delivery system, steel tube and thermoplastic hoses, logic caps, hydraulic power units, accumulators, electrical cable termination units, splice boxes etc.
