Daily Duties at Utc Carrier:

Managerial Accounting Leader - Supervised payroll, A/P, FP&A, and cost accounting teams for a $720 million revenue and 1,350 employee-plant. - Compiled and reviewed overall plant Income Statement and Balance Sheet. - Monitored labor and burden absorption. Increased Managers awareness on P/L impact of throughput. - Directed the WIP and finished goods annual physical inventory. Improved reconciliation process of perpetual. - Oversaw payroll and employee benefits processing. Coordinated implementation of new HR software: Kronos. - Achieved successful negotiations with Unions while conducting a personnel reduction plan. Certified Lean Enterprise Leader - Drove culture of waste elimination and continuous improvement, i.e. optimizing work process for scrap reduction. - Led a VSM on Excess & Obsolescence to prevent aging of finished goods, with exit strategy for $830K of units. - Conducted a SKU rationalization VSM to remove low turn SKUs, create build-to-order features and reduce costs. - Promoted “Achieving Competitive Excellence” philosophy through Kaizen events and by teaching Lean course.
