Financial Planning & Analysis - Closely interacted with business, including Cost Accountants on manufacturing sites and sales force in 7 regions. - Thrived for excellence with on-time, customized, purposeful, and commented financial reporting for SOP. - Oversaw forecast & budget process, including identification of shortfalls and implementation of corrective actions. - Developed “Finance for non-financial” training and coached Managers in understanding key concepts for success. Credit Risk Management - Assessed financial risk exposure for 200 customers worth 1.6 billion annual sales, or $565 million credit limit. - Explored opportunities to improve cash flow by auditing supplier payment terms and revisiting AP transactions. - Simplified customer credit initiation process with electronic applications, reducing processing time by 2 weeks.
