Daily Duties at Montefiore Medical Center:

As a Financial Accounting Manager with a Bachelor’s in Public Accounting, I manage and report the financial operations for both student and residential housing for two separate companies under the Montefiore Medical Academic Health System umbrella. I report and consolidate all capital expenditures in excess of 1.2 billion dollars. I continually seek out departmental improvements in financial reporting and/or GAAP compliance to meet the needs of our changing environment by working in tandem with our Business Information Systems and IT departments. Coordinated dashboard structured reports for upper management and are implementing Strada close process platform. Additionally Managed and reported all Inpatient Revenue, in excess of 6 Billion, and payor, rates, service type mixes.
