Daily Duties at Md Anderson Cancer Center:

Responsible for managing the implementation of Information Security and Institutional Compliance projects for the entire institution. Some projects include Full Disk Encryption, Data Loss Prevention, Patient Privacy Monitoring and Reduced Sign on. The project budgets ranged from 100K to 6 million dollars. Managed full disk encryption project which included deployment of the encryption solution to 40,000 computers. • Collaborated with project stakeholders across all departments to elicit and review project requirements and design • Managed stakeholder meetings with over 45 participants • Designed and implemented new business processes/workflow • Developed detailed communication plans and artifacts which are distributed to the entire institution of 24,000 employees utilizing various medium • Collaborate with Institutional Compliance attorneys to improve security policy. • Worked with Senior Management to help meet global security initiatives. • Managed multiple security projects simultaneously in a matrix environment.
