Daily Duties at Water Street Ministries:
Benefits and Compensation •Developed employee healthcare, retirement, education and employee assistance plan. •Primary contact for vendor and broker partnerships to consider employee and employer costs. •Created salary structure with grades and salary ranges for all employees. •Designed and implemented full-cycle recruitment process with unique on-boarding design. Training and Performance •Created the organizational performance evaluation, provided training to all managers and implemented and oversaw the annual evaluation process. •Provided coaching to assist employees with their professional development. •Coached managers on employee-relations to discuss performance and disciplinary issues. Leadership •Created a highly-functional HR team which provided exceptional service to eight locations. •Oversaw direction of workers compensation, unemployment, and investigated employee concerns. oReason for Leaving: Hired to launch and develop HR department. As the ministry changed, my role required responsibilities outside of the HR field.
