Daily Duties at Doctors' Choice Home Health:

In the role of Director my responsibilities fall under the formation, implementing, sales/marketing, and monitoring of a comprehensive psychiatric home care program with the development of four specialty programs:  Development of in depth specialty programs: Alzheimer’s/Dementias, Anxiety, Depression, and Substance Abuse Related Disorder Program.  Interviewing, hiring, and performance review of Psychiatric Certified Nursing staff for the development of a team to service: Baker, Brevard, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, Orange, Seminole, St. John’s, and Volusia counties.  Assist with the orientation, education process of the clinical staff.  Marketing the psychiatric program within all service areas with assistance of local marketers.  In-service community clinics and facility staff on the psychiatric needs of the residents of our communities.  Participate in the evaluation process of a potential home care patient while in the institution(s).  Communicate effectively the mission and objectives to staff to ensure quality service consistent with corporate guidelines, standards, and policies.  Conduct monthly meetings of the psychiatric team to perform clinical case conference to meet the challenging needs of our patients. Attending weekly marketing meetings with local team marketers, monitoring accounts and trends.  Monitor work schedules of the team to ensure effective coverage and to match patient care needs with the appropriate clinician.  Perform additional tasks, as needed, to resolve issues and identify alternatives for quality improvement.
