Daily Duties at Mederi Care Tenders:

Active role of Director serving as Alternate Administrator; with oversight of operations and clinical services that promote the safety of all patients and family maintaining federal, state and local regulations, while maintaining organizational policies and procedures. The understanding of financial fundamentals/metrics of business and use them to effectively run a profitable operation, increase revenue and achieve annual business plans and budgets. Ensures that the professional standards of JACHO, OSHA, CLIA and community nursing practice are maintained and adherence to agency procedure and patient care policy manuals are upheld.  Fostered effective communication and facilitated evaluation interaction in the process of providing education and solutions to all associates responsible for direct patient care, for championing corporate goals and mission/objectives.  Work in collaboration with sales, operations/clinical support, finance, human resources and support partners to assess market potential, develop and deliver quality services and build/maintain client relationships.  Work with clinical staff to ensure excellence in home care throughout the stages of life to the end stage/palliative care, with close associations with local Hospice Agencies.  Oversee patient intake/inquiries: assess patient needs: ensure branch staff skills are matched to patient care requirements; and to prepare/monitor work scheduled to ensure effective coverage.  Develop annual branch budget and monitor expenditures to ensure approved budgetary constraints. Analyze gross profit factors, business volume/mix, market conditions, competition and operational requirement/costs.  Review daily, weekly, quarterly and annual reporting of operational activities with the development of performance evaluations and corrective action plans/resolutions to produce positive outcome measures through supportive data analyzing of SHP (Strategic Healthcare Program)  Assist with annual corporate, AHCA and JACHO surveying, corporate medical record desk audits and ADR/RAC processing  Works with Recruiter to recruit and hire branch staff and caregivers. Monitor performances to ensure accuracy/quality and provide ongoing staff development.  Directs branch billing, payroll and data entry activities and assists with assessing patient credit limits. Review pay/bill rates to ensure that company daily sales meet standards/goals and to coordinate with financial service unit(s) for accounts receivables activities.  Performs other duties as assigned, including organizational development to enhance efficiency of corporate programs, office operations and personnel development while consulting with up-line management and company departmental resources.
