Daily Duties at Noridian Healthcare Solutions, Inc.:

Appointed as CFO, managed enterprise-wide financial operations, trained, motivated, and oversaw Finance, Budgeting, and Reporting directors, and 23 finance professionals, and drove $220 million in annual revenue for a BBCS North Dakota subsidiary. Attended six annual Board of Directors and Finance Committee meetings, prepared and submitted financial reports, and recommended strategic health care solutions. Reviewed Medicare claim summary reports, certified 78 million annual claims, and facilitated $19.5 billion in government MAC, PDAC, and Medicaid claim payments. Validated and approved Certification Package prepared by Internal Controls Division, modified/submitted Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services and Cost Accounting Standards Disclosure Statement to CMS, and assured Defense Contract Audit Agency compliance with audit requirements. Collaborated with outsourced auditors, provided support and documentation for Standards for Attestation Engagement (SSAE) No. 16 (formerly SAS 70) financial management audits, and consistently achieved positive department audit outcomes. Reviewed and evaluated four Medicare area contracts, prepared contract vouchers, developed and submitted contract-year projections, trend, cost, and CFO reports to the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services, facilitated an efficient contract funding process, and assured funds availability. Led Cost Proposal Response Team, developed and prepared business proposal for Medicare A/B Jurisdiction E and DME Jurisdiction A contract bids, and supported a successful bid-preparation, submission, and acceptance process
