Daily Duties at Ibaset:

• Responsible for on scope, on time and on quality delivery of the application software releases geared toward abstract manufacturing. Service Pack and Hot Fix releases were fast paced and included a combination of performance stability and maintenance related fixes. Major releases covered new features and platform upgrades over a longer life span. • Managed team of 50-60 developers for Solumina IBA, Enterprise software for aerospace manufacturing, and medical devices. Established the development teams and expanded them internationally. • Implemented Agile process (SCRUM teams) for software development, testing and maintenance of the product to align with customer demands. • Introduced software development best practices for scaling the product to a larger and global customer base. • Introduced new development and testing tools to help with process implementation. • Worked closely with product management teams to enhance the product feature set and technology platform. • Worked closely with Deltek for ERP (Costpoint) to MES (Solumina) integration. Introduced SOA architecture providing well defined web services (WSDL, SOAP). • Responsible for building Manufacturing Intelligence Star schema (data warehouse). Established the team from the beginning, negotiated with few vendors for the proper ETL tool (Talend) and introduced Software development best practices. • Defined and implemented best practices of software development processes to ensure development of enterprise software to get the product appraised at CMMi level 3, including: o Functional and Design Specification templates o Uniform coding standards for in-house and offshore development teams o Peer-to-peer code reviews o Source control and versioning control o Automated software build o Unit testing by development team • Defined and implemented environments/tools for load and stress testing. • Built cost-effective offshore software development teams. Enforced and synchronized both onshore and offshore teams to adhere to the same best practices and Standard Operations. • Ensured both onshore and offshore teams worked with high synergy and team work. • Excelled in supporting and collaborating with product management team with quick turnaround for immediate and high priority requests. • Provided exceptional support and collaboration with implementation team, partners, and their customers with quick turnaround for critical and high priority issues.
