Daily Duties at Professional Resource Group, Inc.:

 Maintained overall operations of multiple MVS/OS/390 systems for the United States Department of Defense in a sysplex environment 3 | P a g e  Resolved problems on hardware, software and programs; upgraded procedures on jobs; documented errors and corrections; and prepared daily logs and reports  Interacted with the vendors to resolve problems  Knowledge of IPL and POR  Used Control-M for job scheduling  Used Control-R for job restarts after job abends  Used Control-O for monitoring abends on systems and resolving abends  Completed Quickets for job abends and password resets  Opened Remedy tickets for different problems, assigned tickets to proper groups for attention, and closed tickets when problem are resolved  Opened Remedy hardware tickets, including completing all necessary information to resolve the problems  Used Teloquent software for answering telephone inquiries on printers, passwords, resets, etc.  Worked with RMF to monitor the system’s performance  Worked with different modems including resets and who to call if resetting does not correct the problems
