• Provided overall guidance, leadership support and strategic direction in the execution of the department’s functions, projects and activities. • Established and enforced IT policies and procedures that promoted and ensured the confidentiality, integrity, availability and security of corporate data and information. • Liaised with user departments/ business owners to gather user requirement specifications for new IT solutions; including information on the scope, budget and timeline of required solution • Responsible for the administration of networks comprising of 550 workstations. • Responsible for Network implementation for our clients using Cisco router series (1800 series, 1900 series, 2800 series, 2900 series) and Cisco switch series (2900 series, 3500 series. 3750 series) • Managed network routing protocol (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP) network control protocols (QOS, PoE, NTP, DHCP), network management protocols (CDP, FTP, TFTP, SNMP) and security protocols (SSH, HTTPS, AAA, IPSec) • Managed host-based security products, including antivirus and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS). • Ensured thorough network documentation, including maintaining each account's network Design, backup configurations using various tools (e.g. VERITAS Net backup) and network architecture diagrams. • Provided leadership and direction as it related to design and implementation of systems, Networks and applications. • Coordinated with the infrastructure team to ensure that the infrastructure resources are aligned and available for the successful completion of the project. • Monitored service level agreements to maximize value to the business. • Oversaw the ongoing review of project(s) status; identified risks, developed, recommended and implemented risk mitigation solutions as appropriate. • Developed and made presentations that led to expanded business opportunities. • Managed the operation, administration, maintenance, security, and provisioning of the Operations Support
